Core Features Documentation

📝 Logging Lessons

Learn how to log daily lessons and activities for all your students and subjects.

Start each entry by choosing the date, teacher, student(s), and subject, then add an optional topic (for example: Science -> Photosynthesis). Enter lesson details in the lesson box, and use Share when you want students to see that lesson on their Shared Lessons page. After saving, each lesson appears in the log below where you can edit, copy, or delete it anytime.

✏️ Homework Tracking

Discover how to assign, track, and manage homework for each of your students.

Add one or multiple homework items per lesson, including per-student customization when needed. Students can view homework in their own login and check off each item as completed. On the teacher log, completion status shows clearly with automatic indicators, and you can click the 📚 Review Homework button to enter feedback (checkmarks, grades, or comments) for completed work.

📊 Record Keeping

Understand how to maintain comprehensive records for compliance and documentation purposes.

As you add lessons, your compliance chart updates automatically based on the subject goals set in Subject Admin, so you can quickly see weekly progress. Use the Lessons Log filters to find records by recent weeks, subject, teacher, student, homework-to-review, or text search. When needed, export your records as a PDF for documentation and reporting.

🎓 Student Access

Set up student accounts so they can view their assignments and access shared lessons independently.

In Users Admin, create student accounts and assign the correct access role. Students can sign in to view assigned homework, see shared lessons, and mark homework complete. Parent-teachers keep full control of lesson entry and review, while other roles (such as hired teachers or non-teacher parents) can be configured for the access level you want.
